01Who we are
This website is run by AJ Technologies, a sole proprietorship owned by AJ Brightwin, based in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India (“AJ Technologies”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We design and build websites, online stores, web applications, mobile apps and digital marketing for businesses.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the information you share with us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
02Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to share with us:
Quote form
Your name, phone number, email address (optional), business name, the services you are interested in, your timeline, how you prefer to be contacted, your message and the language you used on the site.
WhatsApp, calls & email
Your name, phone number or email address and anything you tell us about your business or project.
During a project
Content you give us to build your project, such as your logo, text, photos, product details, and login details for your domain, hosting or app store accounts.
Technical data
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, to keep the website secure and working.
We do not ask for payment card or bank details on this website. We do not take payments online.
03Cookies and similar technology
We keep this simple. This website does not use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, advertising trackers or any other tracking cookies.
- Security cookie: a small, essential cookie protects the quote form from misuse (known as CSRF protection). It does not track you.
- Language choice: if you switch between English and Tamil, your browser remembers your choice on your own device. This is not sent to us.
You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. Blocking the security cookie may stop the quote form from working, but you can always reach us by WhatsApp, phone or email.

We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and understand what you need;
- prepare and share your free quote;
- plan, build, launch and support your website, app or marketing campaign;
- talk to you about your project by WhatsApp, phone or email;

When you contact us through the quote form, WhatsApp, phone or email, we may send you updates and offers about our services by WhatsApp or email.
Opting out is easy. Reply “STOP” to any of our messages, or tell us by email, and we will stop sending you updates and offers. We will still reply to messages about your enquiry or project.
07How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe:
- information sent through this website is encrypted in transit (HTTPS);
- enquiries are stored on secure cloud servers with access limited to us;
- project logins you share with us are used only for your project and are never shared with anyone else.
Our service providers may store data on servers located outside India. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work hard to protect yours.
08Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation or complete work you have asked for;
- withdraw your consent, including stopping updates and offers; or
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, as allowed by law.

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. This website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.

Our website links to other sites and apps, such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and the live websites in our Portfolio. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
11Law that applies
We handle personal information in line with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its provisions come into force. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
